These terms apply to the CardLens browser extension, provided by Tomasz Jasek. By using CardLens, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the extension. Questions can be sent to tomasz@tjasek.com.

Using CardLens

You may use CardLens to identify and look up cards for lawful personal use. Respect the rights of content owners and the terms of the websites you visit. CardLens does not grant rights to copy or redistribute third-party card images, videos, or other content, or to bypass access restrictions.

Results and availability

Recognition can be incomplete or incorrect. Check the card and an official source before relying on a result for rules or tournament play. Card images depend on Scryfall’s availability. Features may change or be discontinued, and compatibility with every website or browser is not guaranteed.

Privacy and third-party content

The privacy policy explains local processing, permissions, storage, and external image requests. CardLens is an independent fan project, unaffiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Scryfall. Magic: The Gathering and its card names, text, images, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party software remains subject to its own licenses, included with the extension.

Warranty and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CardLens is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To that same extent, Tomasz Jasek is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use or unavailability. These terms do not exclude liability or limit consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes and ending use

Updated terms will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will be identified in release notes or another appropriate notice. You can stop using CardLens at any time by uninstalling it. If you disagree with revised terms, stop using the extension.
