Take a closer look at Magic cards in videos, streams, and images.
Watching a match and can’t quite read a card? CardLens is a desktop browser extension that brings the full card into view without leaving the page. It’s built for English Magic: The Gathering Arena cards.
Point, press, read.
Point at a card’s printed name in an image or video and press Cmd + Shift + E on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + E on Windows and Linux. CardLens reads the name and opens the card beside your pointer. You can also search by name in the overlay. Press Esc to close it.
Change the shortcut or turn CardLens off for a website from the extension’s popup. Small, rotated, or obscured names can be difficult to recognize; manual search is always available. Recognition uses readable names, not artwork.
Recognition stays on your device.
Screenshots and name searches are processed locally. No account, ads, or analytics. Full card images load from Scryfall, and recently viewed images are cached on your device. See the privacy policy for details.
